In 1993 Mr. and Mrs. Truter had a dream of a school being built on the basis of the Word of God. They made that dream a reality and Vaal Triangle Primary School was born. The school was physically built on the Word of God, in the four main corners of the school buildings, four Bibles were cemented into the foundation.
Each Bible open at a specific verse, to show that the educational foundation of this school is cemented with the Word of God and will continue to prosper with His Will. With our faith deeply cemented in the Word of God, we will always find the meaning of life in His word. Each learner must build their character on honesty and truthful principles, as the Bible teaches us.
“………. but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40: verse 30 -31
The eagle flies higher than any other bird and shows that functioning at the highest level, is where you gain the biggest advantage. The eagle is a strong symbol of force and spirit, but most importantly it shows us freedom and the courage to look ahead. The eagle represents keeping a healthy balance, developing your individuality and be confident in all the choices you make.
The eagle always supports and protects their family. We at Vaal Triangle Primary school are family and always will be.
As a single individual, we can accomplish a few things, but if we stand together the possibilities are endless. Together we are stronger, we balance each other, we build each other up and we create a perfect harmony. With all our unique abilities combined, we can change history and make a difference for the good.
The olive wreath is a symbol of victory; we want all our learners to feel like victors when they finish their schooling with us. They will learn that with God on their side, anything is possible. They earn their wreath with each year, as they build their life experiences and know that life itself, is the biggest event they will take part in ever.
The olive branch is a sign of peace to the world and in the Bible the olive tree symbolizes stability and tranquility. Each one of our learners make up a part of the olive tree and at the end of their primary school journey, they emerge as victors with their own olive wreath. They are stable and grounded and ready to face the world ahead of them.
To co-operate means to work together for a certain purpose, to achieve a certain goal. When you do it with love, you inspire people to strive for their best and be happy for others achieving their best. With this motto we encourage children to develop holistically, realize their full potential and become future leaders.
Our vision is to encourage and develop our children holistically in order to realise their full potential and become well-rounded individuals.
Established in 1993, Vaal Triangle Primary School is conventionally located in a safe environment. The school was built on the Word of God and we are proud to say that our educational foundation still prospers within His Will. The founder, Mrs J.M. Truter retired in 2017 after which the school implemented a board of directors and is currently still successfully being managed by them.
